Kerala Hindus of North America (KHNA) was formed in 2001 from the far sighted vision and motivation of Late Swamiji Sathyananda Saraswathi to unite all Hindus with the goal of preserving Sanatana Dharma. The organization provides a platform for all Kerala Hindus in North America to get together without any social divisions of caste and creed. From a humble start in 2001, KHNA has grown to a big family of several thousands of members.<\/p>\n

\u201cSanatana\u201d is a Sanskrit word that denotes that which is beginningless, endless and that which is eternal and everlasting. With its rich connotations, Dharma is not translatable to any other language. Its approximate meaning is \u201cNatural Law,\u201d or those principles of reality which are inherent in the very nature and design of the universe. Thus the term Sanatana Dharma can be roughly translated to \u201cthe natural, ancient and eternal way.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

KHNA is a 25+ year old nationwide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the United States, dedicated to preserving Hindu culture, traditions, and heritage while serving the needs of our community. Our activities extend from religious and cultural programs to charitable and educational initiatives that support individuals and families.<\/div>

We strive to foster unity and cooperation among Kerala Hindus throughout North America. KHNA offers a welcoming platform for community members to connect, celebrate cultural traditions, and participate in spiritual programs. We also support youth and families in strengthening their cultural roots and identity.<\/div>

    • Encourage and help Kerala Hindu community of North America to form prayer groups and Hindu Organizations to further and strengthen the objectives of KHNA.<\/li>
    • Provide the members an environment to practice Hindu religious activities.<\/li>
    • Own and operate places of worship for the benefit of the people who believe in Hindu Dharma.<\/li>
